Although Larry D. Jones, D.C. was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, he considers El Paso home. He attended Western Hills Elementary School, Morehead Junior High, and was a 1980 graduate of Coronado High School where he played varsity football and basketball. Dr. Jones completed his undergraduate studies at Abilene Christian University and UTEP. He went on to attend Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas, and graduated cum laude. While attending Texas Chiropractic College, Dr. Jones was an active member of the Phi Kappa Chi fraternity where he enjoyed serving the community through service projects and fundraisers. Upon graduation in 1988, Dr. Jones returned to El Paso to start his practice.
Since that time, Dr. Jones has been very involved in both his profession as well as his community. Dr. Jones has treated many area athletes, including Franklin High School students and UTEP football players. Dr. Jones has served as chiropractor for the UTEP golf team since 1998. He has also treated several PGA and LPGA golfers. Dr. Jones has treated professional rodeo participants with the Southwestern International Livestock Show and Rodeo since 1992. Dr. Jones is an avid sportsman and enjoys golf, basketball, and fishing. He is a member of Westside Church of Christ where he has been a Sunday school teacher for over 15 years.
Dr. Jones married his high school sweetheart Leslie Reinheimer in 1985 and they have two children, Derek and Shannon. Derek is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in mechanical engineering. He, like his father, was a standout high school basketball player. Shannon is a graduate from the University of North Texas. She is an accomplished musician and is a second grade teacher in the Louisville School District, in the greater Dallas Region.
